TIMELESS BEAUTY CRAFTED FOR YOU
At MATTAR, every piece begins with a natural pearl—rare, untreated, and shaped by time. Our pearl jewellery shopping experience is deeply personal, guided by meaning, not trend.
Our designer pearl jewellery reflects the quiet strength of tradition. Each design is crafted with care, preserving the character of every pearl while offering timeless forms made to endure. These are not seasonal pieces—they are made to be worn, remembered, and passed on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the product be exactly as shown in the images?
The color and shape of the pearls may vary from the images displayed on our website. Each pearl is a unique creation of nature, and as such, slight variations in hue, luster, and form are to be expected. These natural differences are a testament to the authenticity and individuality of each piece, ensuring that your jewelry is one-of-a-kind.MATTAR is not liable for any perceived discrepancies between the images on the website and the actual appearance of the pearls in your jewelry. These distinctions highlight the inherent beauty of natural pearls and do not constitute defects. Please note that while we strive to provide accurate representations, variations in color may also occur due to differences in monitor settings.
Are your pearls cultured?
No. We take pride in working exclusively with natural pearls that develop without human interference, harvested sustainably by licensed divers in the Arabian Gulf. Furthermore, the trade and usage of cultured pearls is legally prohibited in Bahrain.
Do pearls change color over time?
Pearls can change color over time due to exposure to elements like cosmetics, perfumes and other chemicals (like Chlorine and soap). Proper care can help maintain their original color.
What type of gold is used on the jewelry?
All of the gold used in our products is 18K gold.
What are the different grades of pearls?
Pearls are graded based on several factors, including luster, surface quality, shape, color, and size. Our top-grade pearls are classified as Jiwan, representing the highest quality available.
How are the pearls sourced?
At MATTAR, we take great pride in using Bahrain's natural pearls, which develop without any human interference. Our licensed divers gather oysters by hand, ensuring preservation of the marine environment. This dedication to sustainability and respect for nature outlines our mission to create the finest pearl jewelry while preserving the integrity of our natural resources.
Do you provide certificates of Authenticity with your jewelry?
Yes. All our jewelry pieces come with DANAT certification, outlining the authenticity of the pearls as well as the weight and grading of the pearls used on the piece.
