Paris Biennale - 2019
At La Biennale Paris 2019, MATTAR was honored to contribute to The Pearl Room, a curated exhibit exploring Bahrain’s rich pearling legacy. Featuring rare artefacts and historic creations from the House of Mattar, the exhibition traced the cultural and economic significance of pearls that once connected Bahrain to the world. Presented within Bahrain’s landmark participation as Guest of Honour, it offered visitors a rare insight into one of the Kingdom’s most treasured legacies.
